SF State Gateway Redesign Will Keep You Coming Back!

SF State's Gateway, the digital one-stop-shop for SF State, is used daily by students (current and future applicants), faculty, and staff, as a central place to access campus resources, applications, websites and news and events. After reviewing feedback and conducting interviews with the campus community, the Gateway has been redesigned to be persona-based -- a tailored experience based on the following on-campus roles-- to display tools and content only applicable to them:

Future students (applicants)
Current students (undergraduate, graduate, College of Extended Learning)
Faculty
Staff

BENEFITS

The new Gateway has improved application performance and is built from the ground up using React JS -- the same platform that powers Airbnb, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter. In addition, the updated Gateway provides campus needs in one place so users can stay logged in all day to access what they need at their fingertips, including a new persona-based LaunchPad, News feed, and Events feed.
